Gamji Foundation for Educational Excellence is a pan-Arewa nonprofit organization established to restore academic excellence as a central pillar of development across Northern Nigeria’s 19 states.

The Foundation was born out of a shared concern among educators, scholars, and professionals about the declining emphasis on merit, discipline, and academic achievement in the region. Recognizing that sustainable development begins with strong human capital, the Foundation was created to identify, reward, and nurture outstanding students, starting from the grassroots and extending to regional recognition.

Through structured prizes, scholarships, mentorship, and leadership development programs, the Gamji Foundation seeks to build a new generation of scholars who are intellectually grounded, ethically driven, and prepared to contribute meaningfully to society.
